Festivals and Traditions

These are one of the many occasions to get to know, participate, enjoy and share collective life.

The "Spring Festival" (in April) and the "Autumn Festival" (in October) are an expression of popular Catalan culture, where there is no shortage of castellers or correfocs, or the giants and big heads.

Palm Festival, a religious festival that takes place a few days before Palm Sunday, and in which for half a century the palms have been blessed at the door of the Basilica.

The Amateur Painters Exhibition takes place every Saturday and Sunday morning in the Plaza de la Sagrada Familia.

The Christmas Market. This is celebrated on the days before the Christmas holidays in the Plaza de la Sagrada Familia. You can buy fir trees and all kinds of traditional ornaments.
