It is located in a trapezoidal corner plot, with the main façade in the chamfered corner. The edifice was built during the years 1931-32.
The same architect as the José Viladot building, Jaume Mestres, constructed this building. Jaume Mestres is one of the most influenced by Art Deco Catalan rationalist architects, an influence that is clearly seen in this building, especially in the balconies and the stepped finishing.
