Susana Esclusa

Susana Esclusa is a contemporary artist with a deep passion for watercolor, based in Sitges, Barcelona. Her artistic journey began in Amsterdam, where she studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Art Academy, and later continued her training with various painting and drawing courses at the Barcelona Art Academy.

Throughout her career, she has held solo exhibitions at the Danubio Art Gallery in Sitges, as well as participated in temporary shows and numerous local art fairs across Catalonia.

Her style, strongly influenced by modern Impressionism, is defined by loose, natural brushstrokes that bring her vibrant compositions to life. The fluidity of watercolor allows her to explore a wide range of subjects, from landscapes and floral motifs to interior scenes and the human figure.
