Miriam Buendía: Illustrator and plastic artist

Míriam is an illustrator and visual artist based in Barcelona. She specializes in the creation of works focused on sensitivity and tenderness of the gaze, addressing the different emotions we feel as human beings going from life to death. Her work, through a universe of her own, wants to bring us closer to nature, whether that of the earth or our own. In addition to using canvas and paper as a support, she makes designs for textile applications that she and her mother make, a tandem with the intention of promoting small local businesses and highlighting the value of the artisan in a sustainable and fair way.
