Marc Antoni Pérez Oliván, Nené

Marc Antoni Pérez Oliván, known as Nené, is a talented cartoonist, publicist and comic book author. Since he was a child he showed a natural inclination for drawing and, throughout his career, he has worked as an apprentice in advertising and comic book agencies, developing his skills in various areas of illustration.

Nené has worked as an advertising cartoonist, cover artist and illustrator of books of poems, in addition to publishing in renowned comic magazines. His versatility has led him to work independently, editing his own works and venturing into various projects such as teaching, the creation of murals, works in papier-mâché, exhibitions, window decoration and crafts. Throughout his career, drawing has been the common thread.

Nené's current work is a fascinating mix of comics, surrealism and pop, the result of a constant observation of the world around him. He searches for and selects the topics that most interest and move him, recreating a unique conception of reality, as he feels it.
