Goretti Pérez Ruiz: author and illustrator of children's books

Goretti Pérez is an outstanding children's illustrator, whose career began thanks to the insistence of a writer friend. Together, they collaborated on the creation of a children's story entitled "A World of Noses", focused on aromas, essences and smells. This project sparked in her a deep passion for children's illustration, motivating her to learn as much as possible about this field, including stories, editing, and illustration techniques.

His first illustrated album was a valuable learning experience in narrative, composition, techniques, and color theory. This training, together with the workshops she attended, led her to create her second illustrated children's album, "¡Super Mia!", which won the Premi Tombatossals de Castellón in 2020.

The success continued with a second story about Mia, which was also awarded the Mallorca Children's Literature Award in 2021.
