3rd FAIG GAUDÍ EDITION (The art, craft, illustration and graphic design fair of Gaudí Avenue) Open Call for Artists

Gaudí Shopping presents the third edition of the Faig Gaudí fair, the art, illustration, and applied arts fair of Avinguda Gaudí.

Faig Gaudí is a cultural event organized by the Gaudí Shopping commercial hub with the collaboration of the Barcelona City Council, bringing together art, history, and community in an iconic setting in the city of Barcelona.

On September 3rd and 4th, the iconic Avinguda Gaudí will set the stage for the third edition of the Faig Gaudí art fair. Aiming to become an annual benchmark, the fair will span across the four sections of the avenue, from the majestic Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site to the imposing Sagrada Família Basilica, two of the most emblematic monuments of the city of Barcelona and Catalan Art Nouveau (Modernisme).

During the event, in addition to the sale of art and crafts, visitors can enjoy a wide schedule of activities designed for all audiences, including applied arts workshops and an exhibition.

Organized by Gaudí Shopping, in collaboration with the Barcelona City Council and key organizations such as the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site and the Ateneu del Poblet, the fair aims to highlight the importance of Avinguda Gaudí as a cultural, commercial, and historically valuable space.

Featured Activities:

• Historical and Cultural Exhibitions: The fair will feature an exhibition, Essential: The Women Making History at Sant Pau, which can be visited from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM at the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site.

• Art and Craft Sales: Over 30 artist and artisan stalls will gather at the fair, offering a selection of works across various disciplines—from children's illustration and comics to artistic photography, sculpture, and ceramics. This meeting point between creators and the public not only allows for the purchase of unique pieces but also promotes the appreciation of applied arts and crafts.

• Creative Workshops for All Ages: The Faig Gaudí Art Fair has organized a series of workshops for all ages led by professionals, enabling participants to immerse themselves in different artistic techniques and forms of expression inspired by the legacy of Catalan Modernisme.
